Last reli outpost

Our fifth wheeler backed very conveniently into our relations flat sunny drive at Blighty NSW . ”You look a bit too comfortable there, with space and sun for the solar panels”, they remarked. “Just a final goodbye and we won’t outstay our welcome.”
The countryside is stark and withered with an occasional flash of a crimson parrot against the bright sky. This is echoed in the humour at the Blighty pub. ”How are you enjoying your retirement, Jack?” “Oh it’s great except I have this disease-BBS.” “What’s BBS?” “Bored Bloody Shitless.”
Bill has terminal cancer. His mates are gathered around while he still standing. “We have a presentation for you, Bill.” He had to laugh when he found it was a tape measure to get a coffin to fit.
We had checked out Sun Dodger[the racing greyhound] at our previous reli stop. At the Deniliquin club, we dubiously placed our fist bet ever on the said greyhound. It came in at 25/1. It’s a fantastic omen for the trip to come.
May lives in Deniliquin. She is friendly with Joy. Joy got very sick. May, on one of her visits to her sick friend met Charlie. Charlie soon came to taste the food of the best cook in town, while May got the organic vegetables and little trips here and there. Joy was not happy. May was flushed with a new love in her life. “Of course there is no sex involved,” she justified to her family. But who knows what will happen on her 90th. Birthday celebrations.
